Last fall Charlie and I began a discussion about the possibility of taking the kids abroad and serving/volunteering in a variety of ways. Simultaneously, I was doing a bible study called "Experiencing God". One of the most applicable lessons said "You cannot stay where you are and go with God." There are many ways to apply that spiritually in anyone's life ~ to grow in faith or to surrender your life more fully, but we decided we should take it literally.
